Are we aware of and listening to the movements of our own heart?
We naturally limit ourselves on so many levels. We think and say, “I can’t do that. I’ve never done that.” But continued engagement leads to personal growth.
Talk to Jesus as you would a friend, and you will find a God who has a beating Sacred Heart that longs to console you, rejoice with you, and relate to you.
His presence is almost tangible. It’s gentle. He guides us. He prompts us all the time. It’s a matter of being tuned in. We start to move with confidence because we know that He is faithful.
A few months ago, we were taking stock of our lives as we closed out 2021 and entered 2022. Hopefully, many of us took some time to reflect upon how we wanted to grow in freedom and maturity by looking at the areas both within and outside ourselves that we thought needed to be changed, transformed.
It is this great calling of ours that impels us to enter this new year with a sense of purpose and a commitment to holiness.
It’s recognizing that God does all things well and somehow, I am, with my little part, helping complete the tapestry that God is creating of the whole human story.
