Our volunteers are valued members of our extended Carmelite family and our Volunteer Program affords men, women and young adults the opportunity in helping the Carmelite Sisters make known to the world the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Volunteer opportunities at Sacred Heart Retreat House include helping in the kitchen, gift shop, and offices, caring for our retreat participants, serving as retreat hostesses, helping to organize for retreats, or helping in special events such as our Annual Fall Boutique and several other events.
Marycrest Manor
Culver City, CA
Volunteers at Marycrest Manor help with a wide variety of activities including arts and crafts, poetry reading, personal visits, dance and exercise class, and much more!
Santa Teresita

At Santa Teresita, volunteers help our elderly residents. We will happily accept those wishing to share their creative talents, clerical skills, communication arts, data processing skills, beautician skills and business or educational expertise in any of the myriad of departments at Santa Teresita. Regardless of where your talents or interests lie, all our volunteers are deeply appreciated and warmly welcomed!
