A few months ago, we were taking stock of our lives as we closed out 2021 and entered 2022. Hopefully, many of us took some time to reflect upon how we wanted to grow in freedom and maturity by looking at the areas both within and outside ourselves that we thought needed to be changed, transformed.
It is this great calling of ours that impels us to enter this new year with a sense of purpose and a commitment to holiness.
It’s recognizing that God does all things well and somehow, I am, with my little part, helping complete the tapestry that God is creating of the whole human story.
No one likes change, but change has the potential to propel you forward into new spaces that speak of new life, new opportunities.
Your act of remembrance, presence and accompaniment will be our good Lord moving through you to bring comfort and compassion to those who mourn and lifting up the souls of the departed that they may at last see God face-to-face.
