At all times and in all places, God draws near to us. Do we recognize Him as He approaches us in our busy everyday lives?
- Have you ever noticed how much Jesus moves around in the Gospels?
- He gets up.
- He walks.
- He passes through Galilee.
- He climbs up mountains.
- He comes back down again.
- He walks across plains.
- He walks to Capernaum.
- He moves about the whole region.
- He passes by the shore.
- He walks on water.
- He walks into the death room of a little girl.
- He journeys to Jerusalem.
- He climbs the hill to Calvary on that Friday.
Mercy also moves.
- He is forever on the move.
- Mercy is NEVER content to procrastinate.
- Jesus is forever seeking us out. He longs to draw us near to Him.
- It doesn’t matter where we have been or where we currently are; how young or old we are; the Lord takes the initiative to seek us out and His mercies are new every morning.
