With great joy,
the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles
announce the total Consecration to Christ by the
Perpetual Profession of Vows
of our dear Sisters:
Sister Laetitia Therese
of Divine Mercy (Rigsby), O.C.D.
Sister Joseph Francesca
of St. Teresa (Gosselin), O.C.D.
of Jesus (Medina), O.C.D.
To our dear Sisters, Families, Friends, Benefactors, and those whom we have never met,
With hearts overflowing with love and gratitude, we thank our Lord Jesus for the gift of becoming His brides forever and we thank each of you for participating with us in our perpetual profession through live-stream. It was admittedly a sorrow for us to not have you physically present with us, but the response we have received from all who were present through live-stream has been incredible and beyond anything we could have expected. To know that many, many more, than could ever have fit the capacity of the church, were able to witness our total consecration to Jesus Christ is really quite astounding. Several of our sisters have shared that the view was much better than they have ever had, usually sitting behind the sisters and seeing only the backs of their heads!!! We are grateful that in our Lord’s unfathomable providence He has permitted our perpetual profession to unfold as it has. We are so grateful to our Mother Gloria Therese and sisters and our Mission Advancement Team for all they have done to make our perpetual profession so meaningful in these unique circumstances through the platform of the E-vite, webpage, and live-streaming. We thank you all so much for your presence, prayers, kind greetings and generous gifts. Know we continue to hold each of you in our hearts as we begin our lives as perpetually professed sisters. We love you and God bless you!
Sister Mara, Sister Joseph Francesca, and Sister Laetitia Therese, OCD
