Each person’s life seems to have a unique theme; at least it seems so to me. This year as we enter the new year before us, I find myself thinking about the patterns in my life, an overarching theme running through its ups and downs.

Beginning the New Year
Many of our sisters love to hike in the San Gabriel Mountains and there is one particular hike that we take in the summer or early fall which spans the entire day. One year we took this hike later in the season and figured with our pace, we would be down the mountain before sunset.
