This February 2, 2021 is a milestone anniversary for the Carmelite Sisters. One hundred years ago in Mexico, Mother Maria Luisa Josefa of the Most Blessed Sacrament and her Sisters became officially affiliated with the Order of Discalced Carmelites.

Our priests have given MANY hours in service to their people and during this time when the sacraments are restricted, we realize how blessed we are with their vocation, friendship and loving support.
True greatness comes from within. It is hidden. Someone who allows God’s light, His presence to penetrate every fiber of their being and to shine through is in every essence of the word, GREAT.
Days of cleaning and scrubbing followed, which the Sisters did themselves. They were overjoyed with the thought of the new retreat house and the great benefit to souls who would come to spend “a few days apart with the Lord.”
