Sunday, June 23rd was a joy-filled day at our Motherhouse in Alhambra, California. Dan Rogers, producer and seminarian from the diocese of San Bernardino, California , and the filming crew of Imagine Sisters spent several hours with us. The following day they did more filming at Santa Teresita in Duarte. Their goal was to capture something of the daily life of a Carmelite Sister. Both days flowed smoothly and joyfully and were filled with surprises.
We learned that we were one of five communities selected to participate in the new film “Light of Love” and we loved it! This fall you will see us, together with the other communities, as we go about our daily lives . You will hear us share about our “calling” to religious life. No two vocation stories are the same!
But you probably already knew that!
