The first word that leaps into my mind when I hear the word Jubilee is AMAZING!!! It is amazing that God called me, that He chose ME. I have always been sickly. I was never able to join in many activities growing up because of my asthma. I felt like a caterpillar not able to turn into the butterfly and fly. And so, I asked myself, “Why me, Lord, when there are so many others who could probably do so much more for You?” After all these years, I still think, “Why me?” “Why ME?” However, there was always a small nudge saying, “Come with ME you will see what I can do with you”. I truly believe God listened to my precious Mother’s prayers, she wanted one of her children to be a religious. She never asked me to think about becoming a religious, not even a hint; however, I just knew on my final profession day God answered her prayers. She thought SHE was the lucky one, but I knew I was the lucky one!
