As I look back, I am struck by the goodness and mercy of God. Even though I am a sinner, He has espoused me to Himself in Carmel. I really do not deserve that grace, but I am most grateful for my vocation. There are some things that I wish that I could have done better and was a holier religious. Yet, I thank Him for all the graces He has given me throughout my life, especially life here in Carmel calling me to be His bride. He has always been at my side. I have never felt far from God. God has always been with me even though I have not always been as faithful to Him as I should have been.

I know that Our Lord loves me despite all my shortcomings, and in His mercy, He will take me to heaven. My love, hope, and trust abide in Him.
