Get to know Sister:

Where did you grow up?

Rochester, NY

As you look back through the years of your religious life, what rises to the surface?

That truly “everything is grace” and gratitude. The gift of Carmel is prayer and the more I come to know who God is from my relationship with Him in prayer, the more I come to know myself as I truly am. And even now, 25 years later, the truth that He called me to be His spouse, “knowing everything about me” causes me to have a heart full of deep gratitude for the gift of my Carmelite vocation in this religious family and for the grace of perseverance.

When you hear the word Authentic, what comes to mind when you think of your vocation to this religious family?

The beauty of my religious family – that each sister is known and loved in her uniqueness – personality, gifts, struggles, and mission within her vocation as a Carmelite Sister of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. And gratitude to call each one ”sister.”
