Solemnity of Mary Mother of God

In honoring Our Lady as the Mother of God, we remember that her motherhood is a great source of grace and salvation for us because it was through her that we “received the Author of Life.”

Mercy on the MOVE

As we cross the threshold of this blessed Jubilee Year of Mercy, let us allow our hearts to be set ablaze with Jesus’ missionary zeal. Jesus wants to reach out to the lost, the frightened, the lonely, the hopeless and the broken. But He chooses to do so through us.

Nothing is Impossible

Through prayer, joyful witness and loving service, The Carmelite Sisters are able to promote a deeper spiritual life among God’s people. The Carmelite Sisters have gathered footage from their many apostolic service locations and put together this wonderful video which truly is a labor of love.

Important end-of-life issues, such as “death with dignity”, hospice care, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia, will be presented and examined within the framework necessary for moral decision-making. We will examine how society’s demoralized laws and court decisions challenge us to live out our Catholic faith more than ever. We examine the responsibility of each person to understand the morality of end-of-life issues and how we are called to respond as faithful Catholics.
