Join us as walk in the footsteps of a woman of courage and faith, determined to live the Will of our Lord in her life: Venerable Mother Luisita, the beloved Foundress of the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles.  Mother Luisita arrived in Los Angeles as a refugee in 1927 and lived here for a period of time, establishing several houses, before traveling back to Mexico.  

8:00 a.m Meet at Saint Joseph Campus (507 N. Granada Ave., Alhambra)
6:30 p.m. Return to Saint Josph Campus

Cost: $50 

This one-day pilgrimage includes: bus, continental breakfast, lunch, pilgrimage tour throughout Los Angeles, praying with the sisters at the historic sites that molded our community in its first years here in the United States, Holy Mass, Adoration, and the opportunity to learn more about a saint for our times: Venerable Mother Luisita.  There are limited seats for this pilgrimage.
