Join us for a silent Advent weekend retreat for men and women with Father Jim Nisbet, Retreat Master, on December 6-8 at the Sacred Heart Retreat House in Alhambra. In this Advent retreat, Father Jim Nisbet, will explore themes from the first reading of all the days of the Advent season highlighting the true meaning of this season. Opportunity for Daily Mass, Confession, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and Candlelight Rosary will be provided.
During this weekend, you will have opportunities learn more about:
- How to grow in prayer
- How to center one’s life on God
- How to prepare spiritually for the feast of Christmas
The weekend will include spiritual conferences, time for prayer, Holy Mass, confession and spiritual direction.
This retreat begins at 5:00pm on Friday and will conclude after Mass on Sunday. There are five meals included with this retreat beginning with a dinner on Friday and concluding with a breakfast on Sunday. For our most current weekend retreat rates, please click here.
