Tuesdays: May 28 – July 30 | 7:15pm

If you missed our first series, you can join us for the next installment of the “Catholicism” series.

“Your journey starts here.”  These words posted on the homepage of the website of the Catholicism Series seem to instill in the reader a sense of excitement and zeal for the adventure on which they will soon embark.  The desire to embark on this adventure of radically discovering the depths and beauty of the Catholic Church permeate the core of all who hunger for the truth.

This journey of discovering more of the riches of the Catholic faith has begun at Saint Joseph Campus where a group has been meeting to view and discuss the Catholic Series DVD.  One sister who has attended the sessions shared the following reflection on her experience: “The only fitting response to each one, a sentiment that has brought me to my knees in prayer is, ‘What a gift I have been given in being Catholic!’ Fr. Robert Barron, has created a true Masterpiece in media today, traveling to 18 different countries to film. I have been so moved with a deepened understanding of the faith I love so much by this DVD series. How I wish that St. Joseph’s Hall were filled to the brim for each viewing and subsequent discussion period, that more people may come to treasure the ineffable pearl that we have been given as Catholic Christians.”

Discovering the truth and beauty of our Catholic faith that has been expressed in inspiring art, music, and architecture is a worthwhile journey that has been beautifully displayed in these series.  According to one sister, these series are an excellent tool for the New Evangelization and “you’ll leave deeply moved with a great inner sense of gratitude for the tremendous Love of God for you made manifest in and through His beautiful Church!”

The video series begins at 7:15pm in St. Joseph’s Hall and ends with a brief discussion. We hope to see you there!
